STAFF BIOS

Name: Gina Gemalsky Position: 3rd Grade Residence: Clayton, MI Family Status: I am married to Brian.

Education:  I attended Resurrection School K-8 and then Lansing Catholic Central High School. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Western Michigan University in 2004. I also have an Early Childhood Education Endorsement and  minors in Math, Science and Integrated Creative Art (Dance, Music, Theatre, and Art.

Work Experience:  After graduating WMU, I did a long-term substitute psotion in First Grade at Resurrection School in Lansing.  I then taught Kindergraten for one year at St. Gerard School in Lansing. I substituted throughout Lenawee County this past year. Now, I look forward to teaching at Sacred Heart.

Teaching Philosophy: I believe that as a teacher, I have the ability to influence childern's lives and challenge them to do things that they had no idea they could do before. Teaching is having fun doing something that I love.

Rewarding Teaching Moment: I have had many rewarding moments. It is so amazing to see a child's growth from the beginning of the school year to the end.
