Education: I attended
Litchfield Community Schools for Kindergarten through twelfth
grade. I received my Bachelors Degree from Aquinas College in 1998. I
have a major in Social Studies, a minor in Reading (K-12), and an Early Childhood Endorsment.
Work Experience: I
have worked for Sacred Heart School as the Kindergarten Teacher since
the Fall of 1999.
Teaching Philosophy:
Learning is a life-long process and motivation is the key to successful
education. When students leave my classroom, I want them to continue to
have the motivation and desire to further their learning.
Most Rewarding Teaching Moment:
I don’t have just one most rewarding moment. I have many each day.
Whenever a child accomplishes something they have been working on, when
they finish reading a story, recognize a word, the happy smiles on
their faces and many more.
